Minister Kiya Taylor
About Me
My name is Mikiya (Kiya) Taylor. I was raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, by a single mother who was deeply involved in the church, and I am the oldest of four siblings. I was baptized at age 10 while attending Progressive Community Church in Chicago. I later attended Tuskegee University.
After graduation, I lived in Maryland for 12 years before relocating to Texas, where I currently reside. I have been a member of Zion Church for over 15 years, and just recently God called me to become a minister.
Professionally, I have served as the XK Anywhere Campus manager for 6 years (3 as a full-time volunteer). I bring a background in IT leadership and project management, having worked as an IT Supervisor at Deloitte and an IT Project Manager at Hess Corporation. I have also spent more than a decade serving as a Programs Director for a nonprofit organization, leading initiatives, managing teams, and supporting community impact through strategic planning and execution.
I am a proud mother of three creative and active daughters: Imani (18), Destini (13), and Naomi (10).
