Rachel Briggs
About Me
“It takes village to raise a child” is an African Proverb Rachel Briggs has lived by from her beginning years in the classroom to her current role as a Campus Manager for the Church’s Children’s Ministry. Rachel is a wife of 17 years, a girl mom of 3 (12, 8 and 7) plus a girl dog. She is from Boston, MA, but has lived in Kansas, GA and Florida. Rachel is a proud graduate of Spelman College and has an MS in Organizational Leadership from Palm Beach Atlantic University. Prior to working for Zion church full time, she spent 20 years in the private, public and charter school systems in FL, DC and MA and has held roles from classroom teacher, to Instructional Coach, to Director of Administration and Curriculum. She pivoted to homeschooling and full time ministry after COVID and has been on this journey for the last 4 years. Rachel has also worked and served in ministry for over 20 years as well. Her passion and goal is to make sure families are fully informed, empowered and supported in ALL areas of life and what better way thru the church, home and education.
