Rachel Stafford

Rachel Stafford is the Founder and Owner of Achieving the Promise, a DC based consulting firm that partners with education and non-profit leaders to bridge the gap between vision and results. She brings a 15-year track record of working with leaders at all stages or organization development, from start up through expansion. Her work ranges from design planning for organizations seeking to launch new program initiatives to strategic planning and process design for a nonprofit seeking to distribute awards in excess of $10 million aligned with organizational priorities to managing the oversight of $780 million in federal grants for a state education agency. Her unique approach is grounded in prior training as an attorney and in senior levels of education, including past work representing clients in nonprofit and education matters where we learned the importance of deeply understanding client goals and thinking outside of the box, when necessary, to achieve them.
