What are XTREME Bible Camps?
XTREME Bible Camps are the Xtreme Kidz way of saying this is NOT your average VBS! They are camps that focus on a topic in an XTREME way to make sure kids are able to grow in their faith while having XTREME Fun!
What is XTREME Quest?
Xtreme Quest is our elevated experience formerly known as Vacation Bible School. This is a Bible Day Camp for kids K-3rd. At Zion Church, it is a four-day, three-hour, XTREME time for kids like no other! Your child will encounter the love and grace of Christ through music, crafts, games, and Bible lessons.
What is XPX?
XPX is the acronym for Xtreme Preteen Xperience--just sounds more fun! It's our unique spin on Vacation Bible School designed just for students finishing 4th-6th grades. It is a four-night, three hour fun-filled XTREME time of learning about God through games, lessons, music, and thoughtfully designed activities just for your child.
Is this an overnight camp?
No, depending on the experience you choose, it is either a ONE-day experience in Woodbridge or a four-day experience in Greenbelt. We hope to offer our own overnight camp in the coming years.
What programs (Bible Camps) are offered at this time?
Our programs cater to different age groups, from Kindergarten to 6th Grade. This summer, explore our Xtreme Quest and Xtreme Preteen Xperience (XPX) programs designed to nurture young minds with biblical teachings. We hope to offer additional camps next year.
What time do I pick up and drop of my child each day?
Every parent must come inside with their security tag to pick up their child.
Xtreme Quest - K-3rd:
Doors open at 9:00 AM each day. You will need to walk your child in for daily registration. Plan to spend a few extra minutes for check-in on the first day.
Pick up will begin at 1:00 PM and all children must be picked up by 1:30 PM. Children not picked up by 1:30 PM will be sent to our childcare provider and you will need to pay the applicable rates.
If you’ve paid for before-care your child can be dropped off at 8:00 AM. If you’ve paid for after-care your child must be picked up by 4:00 PM.
Xtreme Preteen Xperience - 4th-6th:
Dinner is available and served first-come, first-serve nightly from 5;00-6:00 PM. You will need to walk your child in daily for registration. Plan to spend a few extra minutes for check-in on the first day.
Pick up will begin at 9:00 PM and all children must be picked up by 9:30 PM.
There is no before or after care for the 4th-6th grade program.

What should my child wear?
Xtreme Encounter:
Please have your child wear comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes for the day. Children will spend some time outdoors (weather permitting), so dress them for the weather. Your child will be given a T-shirt when they check in and can wear it for the day if you would like.
Xtreme Quest:
Please have your child wear comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes each day. Your child will be given a T-shirt when they check in on the first day. You can purchase extra VBS T-shirts for $10. Colors for each day are: Tuesday - Yellow, Wednesday - Purple, Thursday - Green, Friday - Program T-Shirt
Xtreme Preteen Xperience:
Our Xtreme Preteen Xperience participants will be assigned a team color. You will receive an email on June 15th with this information; your child should plan to wear their team color T-Th. On Friday, they can wear the program shirt.
As a parent, can I stay on campus during VBS?
For the safety of the children, no adults may be onsite who have not been background checked and cleared to participate. We invite you to serve with us and experience Xtreme Bible Camps with your child. znch.org/xkbc
